Today, our new website is live.
But this isn’t just a story about launching a website.

It Started With a Simple Thought

At first, the idea seemed straightforward:
“Let’s refresh the M&F Marble and Granite LLC website.”

Something cleaner.
Something more modern.
Something that truly reflected the quality of work we deliver every day.

What I didn’t realize was that this decision would take me far outside my comfort zone.

Diving Into the Unknown

WordPress is an incredible platform — but stepping into it without being a developer felt like learning a new language from scratch.

There were moments when:
• Layouts broke for no clear reason
• Pages looked perfect on desktop but terrible on mobile
• Plugins conflicted
• Settings seemed endless
• Progress felt painfully slow

There were nights I stared at the screen thinking:
“Why is this so complicated?”
“Am I doing this right?”
“Should I just hire someone?”

The Struggles No One Sees

From the outside, a website launch looks exciting.

Behind the scenes, it’s trial and error.
It’s redesigning the same section multiple times.
It’s fixing one thing and accidentally breaking another.
It’s patience being tested daily.

But every obstacle quietly taught me something new.
